    In India, Emerson has six engineering, research and design centers spread across the geography, each specializing in different space and providing global support to all Emerson businesses around the world.

    Emerson Innovation Center (EIC), Pune, Maharashtra

    Emerson Innovation Center, located in Pune, Maharashtra, has proved its pivotal role with its vast spectrum of technical responsibilities that include designing global products, speeding design cycles & offering competitive advantage. Founded in 2003 as Emerson Design Engineering Center, the center today has more than 1,000 employees in a sprawling campus boasting invention disclosures touching a mark of 500 and crossing 270+ filed patents!

    Today, innovative thinking is at the core of the center’s organizational culture. Consistent efforts to nurture it have created an engine for innovations, adding a great intellectual asset for Emerson. Here, the idea generation program supported with numerous creative initiatives like IP mining, Creative Thinking trainings, IP Felicitation & Patent Banquet, single point contact for technical queries, incremental improvements etc. has added to building confidence among engineers as well as customers across Emerson Businesses. Well established innovation culture focuses on identifying ideas, inventors & sensing potential intellectual property at early stages of product development.

    The Innovation Center Pune is an important part of global product development strategies at Emerson for emerging markets, working towards continually developing innovation champions & leaders to add business critical value to customers through product and process innovations. It is constantly focused on adding unparalleled value by solving customer problems in a faster and smarter pace, contributing more and more in a way that has never been done before.



    Emerson Information Technology Solutions (EITS), Mohali, Chandigarh

    Started in August 2007, the Emerson Information Technology Solutions center supports global IT Operations for Emerson. With about 430 employees, this engineering center caters to the IT requirements across Emerson family of companies. It has been significantly growing its business within Emerson, which has lead to the center’s consistent expansion with a much higher number of employees. EITS primarily works on projects based on Oracle Technologies. However, it has expertise in a large number of other IT competencies and supports all applications, with servers hosted in Data Centers located in the United States.



    Emerson Export Engineering Center (EEEC), Pune, Maharashtra

    Emerson Export Engineering Center (EEEC) was the first global engineering center setup outside the United States in 1997 with12 young engineers. Today, EEEC is a center of excellence with a world class facility in Pune and more than 1,500 experienced and highly qualified engineers providing high quality engineering services in the field of process automation for global operations.

    The Engineering Center delivers projects worldwide with PMP certified Project Managers, Planners, Cost Controllers, Project Administrators and Finance Analysts, ensuring satisfaction of every stakeholder. With its engineering strength, diverse knowledge of processes, high standards and continuous trainings, this center is delivering innovative solutions that help customers achieve their business objectives in various industries. Well defined policies, processes and certifications for QMS (ISO9001, ISO 29001), HSE (ISO 14001, OSHAS 18001) and ISMS (ISO 27001), create foundation for continual improvement. Some of its major strengths are its ability to work in a global environment spanning different countries, cultures and customers; giving maximum importance to understanding the customer requirements; and their commitment to put all possible efforts to exceed expectations for a customer’s utmost delight.



    Fisher Chennai Engineering Center (FCEC), Chennai, Tamil Nadu

    Fisher Chennai Engineering Center, established in 2006, provides engineering support services to Fisher globally. Started with 69 employees, FCEC today has over 275 employees. Majority of them are engineers supporting the quotation process for Fisher sales channels around the world. This is the largest group of application engineers working at a single location for Fisher in the control valve industry. Originally intended to support mega projects only, this center soon grew to support other functions like Order Engineering, GIS, SPG, Project Management, Quote-to-order tool FF2 and Customer Drawings. Its engineers provide additional in-house engineering support to specific EPCs based on request. Today this Fisher center also has a large Valve Automation support group providing integrated support from quote to cash, in the form of proposal drafting, configuration engineering and project management.


    Power and Water Solutions Global Engineering Center (GEC), Noida, India

    Emerson Process Management Power & Water Solutions Global Engineering Center (GEC) was established in 1997. Since its inception, GEC has been committed to providing high-quality engineering and services for our global operations. The center has consistently moved up the value chain and has today successfully transformed itself into a microcosm of Power & Water Solutions as a whole. The center currently has over 270 employees with an average work experience of nearly nine years.

    This center offers a wide range of services, encompassing software and hardware engineering for the power and water industries. The portfolio of GEC services includes providing optimized solutions for thermal (sub-critical and supercritical), renewable (solar, hydro, and geo-thermal), combined cycle, combustion turbine, and water treatment plants. Its expertise in software development and validation, high-fidelity simulation modeling, performance calculations, and the installation, commissioning, and tuning of Ovation control systems provides a major impact in meeting the goals of our customers.

    To continually provide our customers with comprehensive and optimized solutions, GEC has established a comprehensive set of quality checks, efficiency improvement procedures, standards, tools and reference libraries.
