BEIJING, China ( August 20, 2014 ) – Emerson (NYSE:EMR) announced today that 1520 units of “Family Relief Boxes”, which Emerson donated through China Red Cross Foundation with a RMB 456,000 donation, have been delivered to affected families in earthquake-stricken areas of Ludian, Yunnan province. Emerson has also donated two power generator sets to the earthquake-stricken areas, to be used for providing power at resettlement sites for the affected community.
